MARCH 13, 2026 - New York, New York - The 2026 Nike Indoor Nationals, held at the New York Armory in New York City, brought together some of the best prep track and field athletes in the country — and Lorain High's own Jazion Moore was among them.
Competing in the Championship Division of the long jump, Moore faced a tough road early, recording fouls on his first two attempts. With one jump remaining, he stepped to the runway and delivered when it counted most — a mark of 22 feet, 6.5 inches (6.87 meters), the third-best jump of his career.
That final effort was good enough to place him 13th out of 36 competitors in the Championship Division, putting him in the top half of a national field.
We are proud of the composure and determination Jazion showed on one of the biggest stages in high school track and field. Representing Lorain High School at Nike Indoor Nationals is an achievement in itself, and finishing 13th nationally in the championship division is something the entire Lorain community can celebrate.
Congratulations, Jazion — well done, and keep soaring!
Go Titans
