Media Credentials - Sideline Pass Information
Access to the sidelines at all Lorain High home football and soccer games shall be strictly limited to authorized pre-approved guests. A limited number of sideline passes may be made available by the Athletic Director/designee or School Principal. Sideline passes are not transferable. The passes will be issued after proof of the identity of the authorized individual is received, along with a signed Sideline Rules and Sideline Pass Waiver forms, at the game entrance for home games.
Those who may be provided with pre-approved sideline passes include verified media members, LHS game management, security personnel, team physicians, and necessary Lorain City School District and Athletic Department personnel. Those individuals who are issued permanent game credentials will be exempt.
Email requests for sideline passes must be received by the Athletics Office no later than 5:00 p.m. the day before the game. Media requests for sideline passes may be requested no later than 10:00 am on the day of the game. Pre-approval must be completed no later than 12:00 pm the day of the game or access to the sidelines will be denied. Any person with a sideline pass shall not enter the designated team box area at all times, and they shall also not have contact with the coaching staff or student-athletes at any time unless otherwise approved by the Athletics Director.
All persons receiving sideline passes shall be informed of rules regarding conduct and the prohibition of contact with the coaching staff, student-athletes and prospective student-athletes, and they must agree to abide by such rules in writing prior to receiving a sideline pass.
The use of drones, other than by an authorized District employee or agent, is prohibited for any purpose by any person on District property during athletic contests. District administrators shall remove anyone attempting to use a drone and/or confiscate the drone until the athletic contest has been completed.
