The Lorain Titans delivered outstanding performances at the Ohio State HS Qualifier #5 at French Field House in Columbus, with multiple school records falling and numerous personal bests achieved.

MCELYA SHATTERS SHOT PUT RECORD
Junior Jaseer Mcelya rewrote the record books in dominant fashion, launching the shot put 51 feet, 5½ inches (15.68m) to claim second place and establish a new Lorain school record. Mcelya's massive throw demolished the previous mark of 43-9, improving the record by an impressive 7 feet, 8½ inches.

The junior's performance marks a breakthrough moment in what has already been a stellar season and establishes him as one of the premier throwers in Ohio.

4x800M RELAY TEAM LOWERS SCHOOL MARK
The Titans' boys 4x800-meter relay squad of Micah Eskridge, Abimelec Rivera, J'Marion Dewitt, and Jaaron Kidd continued their record-breaking season, clocking 9:47.41 to lower their own school standard. The quartet's perfectly executed race demonstrated the depth and excellence of Lorain's distance program.
