Tracye Menges
Tracye has been with Lorain City Schools since 2004 through our partnership
with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation – Lorain Kolczun & Kolczun Orthopedic
Associates. Tracye received her Masters degree from the United States Sports
Academy (Daphne, AL) and Bachelors degree from LaGrange College (LaGrange, GA).
She played collegiate softball and volleyball and has worked at various levels
of athletic competition, from high school to professional sports and Olympics,
giving her a vast knowledge base.
At Lorain, she works closely with administration, coaching staffs, parents
and student athletes throughout the year to provide care and treatment of
athletic injuries. In the clinic, Tracye works as an orthopedic cast
technician. She is a registered orthopedic technician (ROT), master caster and
orthopedic brace technologist (OBT). She also provides education, condition and
rehabilitative programs.
Tracye is a certified CPR and First Aid instructor for the American Heart
Association and a Pupil Activity Permit provider through the Ohio Department of
Education. She is a certified Flex Performance instructor and an assessor for
the Ohio High School Athletic Association wrestling weight management program.
Tracye resides in Lorain with her husband, Joe, who is the Head Athletic
Trainer at Firelands High School.
